A route pioneered by adventurers for adventurers! This 4×4 expedition visits some of the jungles most secluded spots. Our Jungle Safari tour takes us to the tranquil crystal clear waters of the Laguna Lachua National Park, a mirror lake surrounded by lush green rainforest, home to jaguars, toucans and howler monkeys!
The isolation of this expedition focusing on the jungle lowlands of the Verapaz not only gives us two days exploring, hiking and camping in the jungle, but visits and contributes support to the local Q’eqchi’ community of Rocja Pomtila. Visiting the community we hop aboard dug out canoes and our local guides boat us upstream to witness the magnificent re-birth of the Rio Icbolay Reserve, the river of the deadly snake.
A once in a lifetime experience! jungle canopies, turquoise lagoons, emerald rivers and exotic animals.
A real adventure on the wild side!
